Dawn Massa is a seasoned art director/graphic designer with an eclectic experience background that includes editorial, print collateral, packaging, catalogs, brochures, annual reports, invitations & announcement cards, and logo design. She loves typography, color, and the challenge to be clever. She's also organized, detailed, and very budget/deadline conscious.

Dawn holds a BFA in graphic design from the School of Visual Arts, NYC,
and has been working professionally in the field since 1987.

Why Lightly Salted? In 1998, Dawn went rogue as a freelance professional and Lightly Salted Graphics was born! The name, Lightly Salted, stems from several different sources — Dawn's love of old diners, her salt & pepper shaker collection, a pretty cool photograph that hangs in her office by a guy named Mark Hill, and another guy named Matthew… who wrote one of the Gospels (5:13-14, in case you were wondering). All of these inspirations somehow blended together to make a pretty nice spice!
